Objective

Design a monthly magazine for the museum you chose. Design considering elements like a cover, the letter from the director, articles, and a calendar of events. Use only one typeface through the whole design, and typography must play a major role. 
 

Approach

I named the magazine On Exhibit for the de Young Museum. Since the de Young Museum is a contemporary, clean style museum, I wanted to bring more color to it. I chose three artists of different styles, using colorful tones and typography to increase the contrast between chapters. At the same time, a visual connection is created between the pages, so the viewer will follow with ease.
